Underground Irrigation

Hi,

I'm currently looking into buying a property. One of the ones I am interested in has some underground irrigation (15hc). I'm after some more info on it , eg: how long before it needs replacing etc , can someone point me in the right direction.

Hi FCD,

Welcome to the forum. You might like to introduce yourself and give a bit more background to the farm and the irrigation system you are looking at?

When you say underground, is it underground mains with hand shift sprinklers or something else? 

What is the irrigation system used to water, crops, pastures or vegetables?

Also, I would be wanting to know about the water supply, is it reliable (dam, river, bore) and has it's quality been tested.

I haven't had a close look at the place yet as im working on the money side of things

It would be fed by a bore and is currently watering lucerne.
