Ticks in pasture

Is there a non hazardous/non chemical spray to treat pasture/paddocks for ticks? I acknowledge that this would have to be an ongoing process but wish to protect horses etc.jycw

Hi there, There is no real way to treat a paddock for ticks. They are carried in by other animals, native and feral, contact with other stock and certain weather conditions. It is far safer and more reliable to treat the animal as opposed to the paddock. Regards Rolly

thanks Rolly. I have not yet purchased my land so just obtaining information regarding cafre of horse= horse rescue. So is the a wash/shampoo that I would use on a regular basis for horses? Or do I inspect every day? thanks.
