The internal, rechargeable battery can last 10 weeks in a shed or indefinitely if outdoors due to the built in solar panel on the top. This has been popular with builders and machinery owners for monitoring construction sites and vehicles.

Xtern Cam can also have an added GPRS modem so you can send the pictures remotely to your email so you can monitor what’s happening while away.
