Integrated Varroa Mite Management (Castlemaine VIC)

The Australian beekeeping industry is seriously threatened by the possible incursion of Varroa Mite (Varroa destructor). This short course provides information on a recent case study of Varroa’s incursion into New Zealand, detailing the mite’s impact on the country’s beekeeping industry.
Participants who attend this course will also gain invaluable information regarding Integrated Varroa Management (IVM) strategies in order to prepare for, and effectively manage Varroa Mite in their apiaries.

Esperance Downs Research Station Field Day (WA)
